Prayer Circle held for Coach Taylor

On Thursday, February 25th students, teachers, and community members gathered on the 50-yard line to pray for Coach Phillip Taylor who underwent a kidney transplant recently. Coach Taylor has been a fixture at Mountain Home Junior High School for several years where he coaches football and baseball and teaches P.E. His daughter and son were at the prayer service and thanked the community for the support their family has received. They also gave an update that his kidney is showing signs of blood flow, which was a positive update.

According to the Facebook page “Coach T Needs a Kidney”, the following updates were posted by his family on February 23rd from Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis where the surgery took place-

Please pray!! Phillip’s kidney is not responding as it should. They are taking him back into surgery to see if they can pinpoint what is going on. If it doesn’t respond, they will have to take it out and put him back on the transplant list. We need a miracle today!!

FINAL UPDATE!!! Surgery is finished and Phillip is in recovery! Dr. Lin came in and said he did beautifully! Thank you for praying! Please continue as he recovers!!
UPDATE #5: Phillip is still in surgery. Things are going well. They’re making sure the kidney is working well before they close him up. Probably another 1-2 hours before going to recovery.
UPDATE #4: Tiffany is in recovery and doing well! Phillip is doing well! The OR team is on the final stretch! Should be another hour and a half for Phillip , then recovery!
UPDATE #3: Tiffany is doing
well! About an hour left in her surgery. Phillip is in surgery now (2:40). Will update when they are in recovery!
UPDATE#2: 1:45 Tiffany is in surgery. They’ll take Phillip back soon! Procedure will take 3-5 hours. Thank you for praying!

n hour and a half or so (1:00-ish). Phillip will go back an hour into her surgery (2:00-ish).
It’s time! We are excited and hopeful and grateful this morning! This precious young lady is giving the gift of life to my husband. There are no words to express our gratitude!
Please pray for Tiffany, her h
usband Clint, and their children as she undergoes surgery today. Pray for recovery and provision as she takes time away from her job.
God has proven Himself to be a reliable strength in time of need and we continue to trust in Him. He has used all of you to meet incredible needs. For you, we are thankful!
Clay Patterson led the prayer and encouraged everyone to be positive and speak of healing when talking about Coach Taylor. Those who know Coach Taylor would agree that’s exactly what he would want.
