MHHS FBLA competes in Virtual District Conference

Students in the Mountain Home High School FBLA Chapter have been preparing for several weeks to compete in events. On Friday, January 29th students gathered in Dunbar to hear the results of these competitions announced through live stream. This is one of many examples of how clubs and organizations are adapting their usual events due to COVID-19.

“We had a packet to study and then we had to take a test online as a group,” said Trent Jordan of his group event.

While students missed the excitement of being called up on stage during the District Conference, they were still thrilled with their results. Students who move on to the state competition will also be doing so virtually, forgoing the usual trip to Little Rock. Though not an ideal situation, students are glad the events weren’t cancelled altogether.
