MHHS celebrated Homecoming week  October 5-9 with the crowning of Levi Priborsky and Savannah Scott as the King and Queen for 2020.

The presentation of the court capped a busy and fun-filled week of school spirit and community. Students celebrated themed dress-up days and virtual events in AAP. The school-wide virtual pep-rally was held on Friday afternoon after the parade recognizing Homecoming court candidates.

Mrs. Quick, the organizer of this year’s Homecoming said, “Everything that we did had to be with masks on and socially distanced. At first, it was stressful, but once you made a plan of how it would have to be and found ways to follow that plan, it was much better.”

Queen Savannah Scott stated, ¨I was very surprised when I won but I was also very honored and proud to represent my senior class and MH as a whole.

Every girl wants to be queen, however, every girl that stood out there with me deserved it too.¨ ”

King Levi Priborsky said, ¨I wasn’t that surprised at first but then I just felt joy and love when I did win, and honestly I actually did want to win because I’ve worked so hard and it felt awesome winning!¨
