FFA competes in Livestock Show

The Baxter County Fair was canceled this year due to COVID-19 but the Livestock Show was held at the county fairgrounds on September 17-18. Students from MHHS competed for the opportunity to advance to the state level. FFA sponsor Mr. White shared the livestock team’s final results:

Lightweight Market Goat Reserve Grand Champion – Anna Marcum
Lamb Class Winner – Josie Kelly, Josie Kelly also won Grand Champion Charolais Heifer
Steer Class Winner – Colton Cooley
Reserve Champion American Commercial Heifer – Kaden Marler
